We are honored to have the Head of the Advanced Concepts Team at the European Space Agency, Dr. Leopold Summerer, to participate in the Space Camp where he will present state-of-the-art research and development in the field and interact with our participants. Professors at HKUST with expertise in space will also give talks in relevant subjects at the camp. Learn more
Award
The winning team will receive round-trip tickets to Beijing to join our representatives from HKUST to attend the 64th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in this September. They will represent students from Hong Kong to share their ideas and visions with professionals in the space industry.
Competition
The theme of our camp is “Be a space expert. Design your own mission”. Students will form groups to design their own space mission under our guidance. They will present their ideas in the last day of the camp, which will be judged by experts in the field.
