 Words from the President

When I think of the history of the Physics Alumni Association (PAA), Newton's first law come to my mind.

Newton's first law:
An object at rest tends to stay at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion with the same speed and in the same direction (when the net force is zero).

Many thanks for the former PAA executive committee's effort on pushing forward the association. To keep this momentum, they did their best to combat with the resistance. However, about 2 years after the establishment, the PAA was lack of man power to balance out the resistance. The premise of the Newton's first law then broke and the association stopped in a tragedy.

This year (2003), our new executive committee give a push on the association. Hope this momentum can be kept throughout the year according to Newton's first law. By giving a push on PAA each year, I wish our physics alumni will build a tight alumni network.
