    Content: Phase transitions and phase diagrams, crystal growth, vacuum Physics and technology, thin film preparation by physical vapor deposition, sputtering and sol-gel.  Chemical processing such as chemical vapor deposition, oxidation, wet and plasma etching.  Lithography and patterning techniques.
